Autotecnica
Founded in 1977 in Casalmaggiore, Italy, Autotecnica Motori (ATM) is a prestigious high-performance motorsport engine manufacturer rooted in Italy’s renowned Motor Valley. Born from a profound passion for racing, the company originally specialised in converting road engines into professional competition powertrains for local racing pilots and small teams, laying a solid foundation of professional engineering craftsmanship.
ATM achieved crucial breakthrough in 1983 through a long-term strategic partnership with Alfa Corse, undertaking the development and tuning of official touring race engines for Alfa Romeo. This decades-long collaboration established its outstanding reputation for precision engineering and reliable performance in global motorsport.
A landmark corporate transformation occurred in 2008. Under the new leadership of Giovanni Delfino and Renzo Federici, ATM ushered in a new era of rapid development. It expanded its headquarters and team scale in 2012, and successfully developed the classic Abarth-ATM 1.4L turbo engine for Formula 4 racing, kicking off in-depth cooperation with top OEMs in GT racing projects.
